A Call to Action! Please Sign Our Petition today

A CALL TO ACTION! PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION ON http://www.gopetition.com TODAY!

Thank you all for reading this blog! I am thrilled to see that we have so many readers. Clearly, these issues are important to you and that is what I am writing about today.
My partner and I started Say No to SodaStream and Say Yes! to Human Rights last fall. Our petition on gopetition.com has been available for signing since November 2012. However, so far we have only been able to amass 42 signatures.

Therefore, I am writing to ask you to please log on to gopetition.com today and sign our petition as soon as possible. The link is posted on this blog but I have reposted it here as well. The purpose of our petition is to push retailers in our community to stop carrying this product. We cannot do this without your support. The second part of the petition is directed at government decision makers, asking them to address the issue of proper labelling for illegal, West Bank settlement goods in our community, in this case, SodaStream. The SodaStream box that I have seen in Winnipeg retailers have stickers attached that read “Made in Israel”, when in actual fact SodaStream home beverage carbonation units are made in Mishor Adumin Industrial Park, in Occupied Territory, and manufactured in violation of International Law.
Therefore, if you are on this blog today, please click the petition link and show your support! If it is important for you to remain anonymous, the petition does offer that option, so that your name will not be shown on the public petition list, it will only show that you signed as Anonymous.
If you are new to this blog and have not visited our petition before, please do so today, it only takes a moment and we need your support to make this happen! I would like to see 100 signatures on this petition by the end of September!

Thank you!
Jennifer Bodnaruk
